The story behind our moving new short film ‘I am the voice of the wind’

I am the voice of the wind – A moving video project by Vasari Singers with the music of Gabriel Jackson and text by Geraldine Atkinson (1984-2009)

Vasari Singers and Jeremy Backhouse are delighted to announce the launch of a powerful and moving new video based on Gabriel Jackson’s shimmering choral music.

The film takes as its basis a piece which is very significant for the choir with music by our patron Gabriel Jackson and words by Geraldine Atkinson, daughter of Vasari alto Elizabeth.

Jeremy Backhouse and our tenor Daniel Burges have created this short film in which we have chosen to express our grief for what and whom we have lost and our hope for what is beautiful and what will continue.
